Saber Tooth Squirrel Control Tips

Must read

It is a common belief that Saborites do not need any type of squirrel repellent. After all, these are large creatures. I am here to tell you that they do in fact need it. Their mouths can be extremely dangerous. If you were to inadvertently step in their cages, or drop items in them, you could seriously hurt yourself, and/or your children.

It is extremely difficult to completely protect your home from a Saborite colony. That being said, if you do have a problem with these little pests, the first thing to do is call a professional pest control company. Don’t bother attempting to solve the problem yourself. Not only is it likely to be unsuccessful but it is also likely to cause you further problems. For example, you could cause a chemical burn to your lawn by using improper Saborite squirrel repellent methods.

Most professionals agree that treating Saborites is best done in early spring. Unfortunately, this is also the time when squirrels are migrating. So while you may think you are out of the woods, you may be making things much worse. In my own experience, once a Saborite colony has started to establish, it is nearly impossible to get rid of them.

One of the best ways to get rid of a Saborite colony is to completely enclose the area under your cages or cover. This includes your bird cage, squirrel cage, and any other enclosed area. Enclosing the area will prevent the squirrels from entering and exiting the area. However, we need to emphasize the fact that we highly recommend that you do not buy or use products that contain pesticides. The squirrel repellent may be very effective, but it could also be harmful to your pets.

What we are talking about here is the product called Fox-Bait. If you have purchased this product, then you will notice that it can be used in two different ways. First of all, you can spray it inside the cages. And secondly, you can use it to put inside your bird cages. It is recommended that you try both methods to be able to determine which works better for you and your pet.

If you do not want to resort to using pesticides, you might consider trying to use cage traps instead. There are many brands and types available in the market. We suggest that you buy ones with a snap-locking system so that you will be able to keep them closed without having to constantly open and close them. Note that we highly recommend that you keep cage traps inside your house because you cannot place them outside your home due to the risk of trapping an animal outside your house.

If you think cage traps aren’t effective enough, then we recommend that you use peanut butter. This is an all-natural ingredient that will repel any animal. Although you might see results after several days of applying this solution, we suggest that you wait at least one month before you start giving your squirrel a bath because the solution will have no effect if your pet hasn’t been eating for more than a month. Peanut butter is also very rich in protein that your bird needs so you can always ask your vet for tips on how much you should feed your bird every day.

Keeping your cage clean and uncluttered is the best way to make sure that your pet won’t take a liking to whatever novel you have in the cage. Remember that squirrels are excellent escape artists so if you can easily throw away old toys, old newspapers and magazines, or old notes and books, then you will be less likely to attract them into your cage. You can also try to put up a net over the cage or you can use plastic boxes. Keep in mind that squirrels can climb pretty high so make sure that you keep the top of the box or cage clean and high off the ground.
